A pale and robust peregrine was observed chasing pigeons from the roof or the "Brosview" apartment building at the corner of Somerset and Bronson this morning at approximately 8:40AM. The bird had dull face markings and a dirty grey-white chest and belly, without noticeable streaking. It approached from the west (flying along above Somerset) before attacking a flock of about 30 pigeons sitting on the building. I can't say whether or not the bird made a kill.
