The male Eurasian Wigeon was still present at Neibauer's Marsh in
Puslinch Twp (east of Cambridge, SW of Guelph) today (April 16) around
12:30 pm. It was against the shore in the NW corner of the large pond
on the west side of the road. At one point it swam out of sight in the
far corner. Most of the ducks were hiding in the shoreline vegetation,
so this bird may be hard to find at times and may require some waiting.

Directions: Neibauer's Marsh is located along Wellington County Road 32,
several km north of Hwy 401. From the 401, either take Hwy 6 north (the
Hanlon Expressway) to the first lights at County Rd 34, turn left and go
west about 10 km to County Rd 32, go north to the marsh; or take the
Townline Rd. exit from Hwy 401 in Cambridge, go north to County Rd 34,
turn right and go to County Rd 32 ( a few km), turn left and go north to
the marsh.
