The third OSPREY has now arrived on one of the platforms and perches half
way down the post in the St Mary Cement Marsh.
2 WHITE THROATED SPARROWS south of Newcastle in my yard as well as many
bright yellow (12) AMERICAN GOLD FINCHES on the feeders, 2 PURPLE FINCHES
Directions: Take Liberty St. exit south of Bowmanville turn right to the
lake and turn west on West Beach Rd. till you come to Cove Rd. and turn
right till you come to a bridge and look toward the north where there are 4
OSPREY platforms.
Take the Newcastle 440 exit from 401 and drive down towards the lake but
stop in front of 590 Mill St. S. and enjoy the feeders north of the house.
I have the Baltimore & Hummingbird feeders up and am hoping to see some
tomorrow. I have put out the welcome mat and the signs of: WILD BIRDS
CROSSING & HUMMINGBIRD CROSSING are up on the AIRMAIL box.
