Had a few interesting sightings this afternoon. There is a field in the west
end of Kingston that I have noticed a EASTERN MEADOWLARK in before and while
cycling thru it saw 2 of them this afternoon at 2:30. While I was admiring
them a Male MERLIN landed in the field as well. There is a creek running along
the west side of this field and while observing it I was able to see 2 RING
NECKED DUCKS, A Female HOODED MERGANSER, 4 CANADA GEESE and a BELTED
KINGFISHER.

To get to this Field, Take HWY 38/Gardner's Road south from the 401. Turn
right on Developement Drive. Just past McKay St on the south side of the road
is a small gravel parking lot next to the field.
