Today, May 1, in beautiful weather and no wind we had ten species of
warblers in the Prince Edward Point area of Prince Edward County. The
highlight was a LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH which was on the east side of the
causeway at the end of the harbour. The causeway is past the banding
station and leads to the lighthouse.
Directions: Prince Edward Point is at the south-east tip of Prince Edward
County. From Picton take county roads 8, 17 and 16 to Black River. Then
follow county road 13 to South Bay and continue until it becomes gravel and
keep going until you reach the banding station and harbour.
