Raptor Observations: Not a lot of quantity but some quality, with two Osprey, two Northern Harriers and an adult male Peregrine Falcon counted. The flight in the first hour was eastbound, very rare at Beamer, caused by the strong winds pushing up against the front which was almost on top of us. Non-raptor Observations: New non-raptors for Beamer today included: House Wren, Grey Catbird, Great-crested Flycatcher and Green Heron. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Mike Street ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Beamer Conservation Area, Grimsby, ON information may be found at: http://www.hwcn.org/link/niaghawk/ Site Description: Beamer Conservation Area is located on top of the Niagara Escarpment above the town of Grimsby, Ontario.
