A male Eurasian Widgeon was feeding along the west shore of the bay along the
point west of Thickson's Woods. It was disappearing among rocks right against
the shore. It seemed to be picking something off the surface. It disappeared
from scope view among the rocks at the shore, possibly roosting on the shore.
There it an upright yellow barrel visible on the point. The bird
disappeared among the rocks just to the right of the barrel.

The male "Eurasean Widgeon" I reported a few minutes ago flew closer and the
turned out to be a male gargany. The white on the head is on the side, which
was not clear at half a kilometre. Sorry for the incorrect i.d.

I saw a White-eyed Vireo at very close range this morning in low bushes
along the creek at Rhododendren Gardens municipal park in Mississauga. It
was quiet. Lots of other activity.
Rhododendren is left at the third traffic light west of Mississauga Road on
Lakeshore Road south of the QEW.
