Hi,
The Snowy Owl first seen on April 21st continues to be found on its
favourite hydro pole on Cameron Side Road. Almost always on the 2nd hydro pole
beyond the first side road south of Hwy 7.
Directions: Cameron Side Road is several kilometers west of Perth. From
Perth go west, then left on Cameron Side Road.

Hopes were high once again that the forecast rain would not materialize
until sometime during the middle of the night. Unfortunately, it began
shortly before dusk, preventing any significant influx of birds from
arriving at the Park.
Nevertheless, winds were largely from the south overnight and conditions
were very mild. Overall activity in the park has picked up but is a bit
patchy, with some locations being very active. Approximately 25 species of
warbler have been reported during the past 24 hours. Indigo Bunting numbers
have also surged with birds being heard, and better yet, seen by many
observers. Lincoln's Sparrows seem more common this morning.
Aside from the adult LAUGHING GULL at the Tip this morning, very little of
note has been reported there. Further north, the following species were
seen.
Prothonotary Warbler - 1 - Woodland Nature Trail (WNT)
Hooded Warbler - 1- WNT & rumours of another in Tilden's Woods
Yellow-throated Vireo - 2- Tilden's Woods
Northern Parula - 2 - Tilden's Woods
Mourning Warbler - 1 - Tilden's Woods & 3 at DeLaurier
Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 1 - Tilden's Woods
Eastern Screech Owl - 2 - Tilden's Woods
Philadelphia Vireo - 2 - Tilden's Woods and Post Woods
Blackpoll Warbler - 1 - Sanctuary
Also reported yesterday were:
Yellow-throated Warbler - 1 - Northwest Beach
Clay-colored Sparrow - 1 - DeLaurier
White-eyed Vireo - 1 - West Beach trail south of Northwest Beach
American Golden Plover - 1 - Mersea Road 12 & Fox Run Road
Black-bellied Plover - 200 - Hillman Marsh
Short-billed Dowitcher - 75 - Hillman Marsh
Willet - 1 - Hillman Marsh
Little Gull - 2 - Hillman Marsh
