Sorry for the false alarm, while I searched for over an hour (along with Jim Fairchild) before 7am I'm positive the Curlew SP was not there. I headed back at noon and there it was in the first cell. I say that I'm positive because there were at least double the number of Dunlin at noon than in the morning! I counted 25 in the morning, there are at least 65 as of 12:30pm!
Also, in Backus Woods I had a very cooperative Acadian Flycatcher about 200m south of the parking area on the south side of Hwy24, also along the main road were 2 Hooded Warblers and 2 Cerulean Warblers. Also, another Hooded heard along 6th Concession (runs parallel to Hwy24 on the north side of the St Williams Forest).
