Hi Birders, Marienna and I birded Townsend Lagoon Today. We found the usual suspects in cell one. They were Least Sandpipers, Semipalmated Sandpipers, Solitary Sandpipers, Lesser Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpipers, Sanderlings, Spotted Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers and Killdeers. In cell two we found a Wilson's Phalarope, which still had some colouration of the breeding plumage. Also a female Northern Harrier was hunting passed the Lagoons.
Good Luck: Karl Egressy Direction: Take Hw 6 South from Hamilton. Drive passed Hagersville towards Jarvis. Turn Hw 69 to the right towards Townsend. Turn into Hw 74 and drive a few kilometers until you hit Townsend Concession 14. Make a right hand turn into Concession 14, drive another one and a half kilometers and you are there.
