This morning I observed an adult Peregrine Falcon circling low over the High Falls Conservation Area in Casselman: it soon disappeared eastwards. There were also 40 adult Lesser Yellowlegs today and 80 adults and 4 juveniles yesterday.

The adult RED-NECKED PHALAROPE was seen swimming at the St-Albert Sewage Lagoons (Cell # 1). When I returned after checking the other cells, it was gone.

DIRECTIONS:

HIGH FALLS : From Hwy 417 take exit 66 towards Casselman. Go about 2 km on Rue Principale Rd to the South Nation River. The High Falls Conservation
Area is on your right.

ST-ALBERT SEWAGE LAGOONS: From Hwy 417 take exit 79 and go south on Regional 5 then east on Regional 7 towards the village of St-Albert. Watch for the sewage lagoons sign and entrance, on the south side, opposite house number 1664.
