wishing to try for this magnificent bird.

At Mountsberg C.A., viewing from Leslie Street at the back of the
Conservation Area Semipalmated Plover, Stilt, Bairds, Least, Solitary, and
Semipalmated Sandpiper were among shorebirds here. A Yellow-rumped Warbler
flew overhead.

Magnolia Warbler, American Redstart, Red-eyed Vireo, Great Crested

At nearby Valley Inn, a number of the above warblers along with Great Egret,
Olive-sided Flycatcher, Rose-breasted Grosbeak Mourning Warbler, Common
Yellowthroat, and an extremely co-operative PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was
photographed on Monday but was not refound on Tuesday.

Fifty Point C.A. today had a great variety of birds lurking out of the wind.
These included Great Crested Flycatcher, Eastern Wood Pewee, Least and
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Veery, Red-eyed Vireo,
Philadelphia Vireo, Barn Swallow, Veery, Tennessee , Nashville,
Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green,
Blackburnian, Blackpoll, Black-and-White Warbler, American Redstart,
Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush,Wilson's Warbler, Canada Warbler and
Baltimore Oriole.

In the odds & sods this week, a number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have
been seen passing through Shoreacres/Paletta in Burlington, another three
American Pipits were seen on a tour of the sod farms, Common Nighthawks and
an Orchard Oriole were seen in the Brantford Area, quite a late record for
this latter species.

That's the excitement of the week. A saugy weekend ahead but with east
winds blowing and rain, a perfect combination for slugging it out at
VanWagners Beach and getting some goodies!!!

Have a great weekend!
