The Manx Shearwater was seen a couple of times this morning at a distance at 9 and 11 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. it was seen at a great distance on the horizon so the bird is still lurking about the lake. Lots of other birds to look at in the meantime including Parasitic Jaegers and Sabine's Gulls. The wind is extremely strong from the east, excellent conditions.
Directions : To reach Van Wagner's Road, take the Centennial Parkway exit from the QEW Niagara and proceed north to Van Wagner's Road. The Lakeland Centre Tower is one to two hundred metres west of Hutch's Restaurant which is west of Centennial. Cheers, Cheryl Edgecombe [EMAIL PROTECTED]
