Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Weather:
Skies were clear early but became dominated by high cirrus clouds as the
day continued making for a bright but generally overcast day overall.
Winds were light and from the west for the most part.

Raptor Observations:
Raptor migration overall was but a trickle with a short pulse of activity
in the mid afternoon. A non-migrant CooperÂ’s Hawk was seen carrying a Blue
Jay over the count area.

Non-raptor Observations:
>From about the mid-morning through to the end of the day, dozens of
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were noted, the busiest movement in the waning
hours of the count. Of note as well the last two days has been the
moderate but steady movement of Monarchs.
