Hi Everyone
Birded Shirley's Bay early this morning and there were 3 Great Egrets feeding along the back bay. Despite the presents of a hunting Merlin, Sharp-shinned Hawk and Northern Harrier shorebird numbers were still good with 2 Short-billed Dowitcher, 2 Dunlin, 15+ Pectoral, 30+ Semipalmated Sandpiper and both yellowlegs. Along the dyke there was a nice concentration of warblers including Northern Parula and Blackpoll. A few Rusty Blackbirds and a couple of American Pipits flew over along with 30+ Bobolinks.
                                                       good birding
                                                           Bruce
