I am watching a Buff-breasted Sandpiper forage among the rocks on the south shore of Snake Island. The bird has been here for about an hour --along with both Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs.
Directions: Snake Island is visible in the distance from Portsmouth Olympic Harbour. Get off the 401 at Kingston, go south on and to the end of Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway. Turn right onto King st.
