Hi Birders,

Today I enjoyed several hours of hawk watching at Bluffers Park, which is on
Lake Ontario at the base of Brimley Rd in Toronto.

I saw over 100 raptors (75% Sharpies), and a huge movement of Cedar Waxwings
(500+).

Bluffers Park is another hidden gem in the city. It is not only a good spot
for hawks, but on certain days, the shrubby surroundings can hold many
passerine and warblers as they migrate along the bluffs from east to west.
It also has a great view of Lake Ontario. There was also a fantastic showing
of 1000s of Green Darners today. The Am. Kestrels frequently dropped in for
a feast.

The other great thing about Bluffers is that it is only about 12 Km from
home!

Good hawk watching,
