The Eared Grebe was seen at approx 9:00 a.m. east of Burloak Park heading
toward the Petro Canada Pier. It was actively feeding and diving moving
fairly quickly in an easterly direction. Perhaps checking from Burloak Park
to Bronte Harbour may be advisable.

Directions; From the QEW in Burlington, take the Appleby Line exit south,
continue until you reach Lakeshore Road. Turn left(east), continue past
Lakeside Village(plaza), just past here on the right is Burloak Park.

The Yellow-throated Warbler was seen at 9:40 a.m. and then refound again at
approx 11:10 a.m.. It was again foraging high in the trees. From the
allotment gardens follow the pipeline till it bends 90 degrees to the right
and the bird is there foraging high in the trees. There are quite a few
later migrants in there today such as Blue-headed Vireo, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Brown Creeper etc.

Directions: Take the QEW Exit Bronte Road (Oakville) south, turn right at
Lakeshore Road. About 1 km down Lakeshore Road on the right hand side.
