Good evening.

I noticed that no one has posted the Eared Grebe since earlier in the day so I
thought I would do it.

Just after 5pm or so Kevin McLaughlin pointed out the bird to Hugh Currie and
I just to the west of the Petro Canada Pier jutting out onto Lake Ontario in
Burlington. This bird was on the choppy lake and if you go down there then be
sure to take a telescope.

Directions

PETRO CANADA PIER

From the QEW exit at Burloak Drive and drive south to Lakeshore Road. At
Lakeshore Road turn right (west) and drive to Burloak Waterfront Park. You can
view the west side of the Pier from this park. B sure to check the whole lake
off of Burloak Park if the bird is not beside the Pier. You may also Park at
the pier to view the east side of the pier.
