To reach Presqu'ile Provincial Park, follow the signs from Brighton. Locations within the Park are shown on a map at the back of a tabloid that is available at the Park gate. Access to the offshore islands is restricted until September 10 to prevent disturbance to the colonial nesting birds there.
Pretty quiet day in the park, not any large numbers of shore birds.
Highlights in the Gull Island area between 9:00 am & 11:00 am today were a
lone long-billed curlew and the south end; sanderlings; buff-breasted
sandpipe, & some mute swans off shore.
