[Ontbirds]Seventeen Sandhill Cranes at Alfred, east of Ottawa

After lunch today, while scouting the Alfred area for the upcoming OFO field 
trip on September 30, I located a flock of 17 SANDHILL CRANES in a sod field 
off Peat Moss Road.

DIRECTIONS: From the town of Alfred go east on Highway 17, then turn south 
on Peat Moss Road and drive for about 3 or 4 km. The cranes were seen at the 
back of the sod field on the west side of the road.
