Winds were all but absent until about noon becoming light southeast in the afternoon. Raptor Observations: The flight today was very slow in developing perhaps not surprising given the lack of wind early in the day. Migration overall was light and again dominated by TVs, highlighted by the last bird recorded for the day a sub adult Golden Eagle. Non-raptor Observations: A total of 7 Chimney Swifts were seen today in two small groups and a single Pine Siskin was also noted. There were still a few Monarchs seen trickling through as well today perhaps numbering 20-25 individuals. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
