Hi Birders,
A rather late Wilson's Phalarope was mingling with Greater and Lesser
Yellowlegs at Blenheim Lagoons today.
There were many ducks, the bulk of which were wigeon.
Back at Rondeau Park early this morning, there were lots of birds, including
hundreds of Hermit Thrushes. Not many warblers, but the most notable was a
"Yellow" Palm Warbler at the churches south of the campground. There have
been a few this fall, as there were a couple last week. There was also a
late Indigo Bunting there as well.
On south point trail, there were a few Nashville Warblers and a large flock
of Yellow-rumped Warblers near the light beacon. Lots of sparrows including
quite a number of Field.
