Hello Ontbirders, Further to our posting on 01 November re: Red Crossbills in the Ottawa area, two additional sightings have been reported since then:
- 02 November - Ottawa River Parkway near Woodroffe Ave. - flock of 12 perched briefly then flew north towards the Ottawa River (Dave Moore) - 03 November - backyard in Russell east of Ottawa - group of 5 seen briefly, visited the feeder then disappeared (Paul Schoening) Good birding, Chris Lewis & Bob Bracken Ottawa, ON [EMAIL PROTECTED]
