Raptor Observations: There was very little movement today until the afternoon; in fact all but 9 birds were recorded after midday. A steady movement was observed for the remainder of the day beginning in the noon hour, dominated by Red-tails and Red-shoulders but highlighted by a good push of Golden Eagles. A group of 31 TVs late in the count was perhaps surprising at this late date. Non-raptor Observations: Today marked probably the largest single movement of Tundra Swans this fall with small to fairly large groups seen throughout the day. Their calls could be heard almost continuously it seemed. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
