Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Cliff Tally

Weather:
Today again saw overcast conditions with light winds varying from east to
north-northeast.

Raptor Observations:
There was very little movement today until the afternoon; in fact all but 9
birds were recorded after midday. A steady movement was observed for the
remainder of the day beginning in the noon hour, dominated by Red-tails
and Red-shoulders but highlighted by a good push of Golden Eagles. A group
of 31 TVs late in the count was perhaps surprising at this late date.

Non-raptor Observations:
Today marked probably the largest single movement of Tundra Swans this fall
with small to fairly large groups seen throughout the day. Their calls
could be heard almost continuously it seemed.
