Hello All,

The black guillemot was seen this morning at 7:30 am from the bridge over
the Spanish River in Massey. The bird tends to fish up and down the river,
sometimes as far away as a kilometer from the bridge. Pete Read, Ian Platt,
Ann White, and Joan Taylor were rewarded with the sight of the guillemot
after a nine hour drive from London yesterday. They stayed at a comfortable
motel called the Mohawk last night; further accommodations are available in
the area. Weather conditions are satisfactory at the moment. Erwin is an
excellent contact for information about this beautiful bird.
