Hi Everyone
The 34th Annual Cornwall,On.-Massena, N.Y. CBC took place yesterday,
December 23th, 2006. Overall, weather conditions were variable with rain and
fog in the morning and the afternoon was mainly overcast with a few sunny
periods. The temperature was mild with a range between 3c to 8c. The St.
Lawrence River was wide open except for a few sheltered bays that were
frozen or had ice along the shoreline. Total species recorded was 60
species. Due to the mild conditions, wide open river and no snow, the gull
numbers were very low and feeder watchers reported few birds. I'd like to
thank all field observers for their time and effort, to make this count
