Birders

Currently we seem to be receiving quite a few messages that correct previous messages. Ontbird is not the journal of record and mistakes happen. Most readers realize this and do not need a follow-up. If they do, they can ask (politely). Please reply to them directly not to the entire list. If your mailbox fills up with requests for a clarification then a second post to Ontbirds might be needed but otherwise no.

Just remember the next time you post to re-read your message and wait a minute or two before hitting the send button.

As of Saturday morning there is a blue morph Snow Goose just east of the main breakwater of Bronte Harbour. The bird was in a large flock of Canada Geese. Also nearby was a Merlin.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Rd. (Oakville) and go to the lake and turn left at Ontario St.
