Having read Ron Fleming's description of the male Snowy Owl near us, my son
and I set out around 1pm today to have a look for what would be a lifer for
each of us.

After scouting out the area for about half an hour, we found the white adult
male sitting on the ground very close to where Ron described seeing it, just
south of Tornado Drive, just west of Keele Lane. The snow is disappearing
rapidly, making him stand out very well.

Also saw a Kestrel on the wires along Wist Road (first of the year for us),
and two Red-Taileds where Wist meets Canal Road. Quite a few Horned Larks
flying around as well.

Thanks very much to Ron for the directions!
