The first-winter Laughing Gull was easy to find in Cobourg harbour all Saturday, March 10th, but more elusive today, Sunday March 11th. Today it was seen in the early morning, then was unfindable for most of the day, only to turn up "out of the blue" at its usual spot by the parking lot at 4pm. New arrivals in the harbour today included 3 Ruddy Ducks and a Pied-billed Grebe.
Directions: Exit Hwy.401 at Exit 474, Division Street. Follow Division St. south to where it ends at the harbour, then drive west around the harbour to the main parking lot on the west side.
