At noon today, in the open water of the creek's mouth at Reesor Pond,
one white adult Snow Goose - this among thousands of Canadas that were
streaming in, wave after wave from Lake Ontario [I assume] - no open
water
to speak of yet, but thousands also streaming into the ponds that lie
in the
NE corner of Hyw 407 and the Ninth Line. Reesor Pond lies just North
of
Hwy 407 on Reesor Road - honk if you love Stan - cheers

It is 1:26PM on Tuesday, March 13. An adult GOLDEN EAGLE just flew by my
window heading north towards Gatineau. My location is at the
intersection of Booth Street and Carling Avenue near Dow's Lake in
Ottawa. One of the best passive raptor-watching spots in all of
Government.
