30 April 2007 Hello Ontbirders,
For some reason no one has posted this yet, but the beautiful male Audubon's Warbler found by Marg Bain last Friday was relocated and seen by many this morning. The bird has been seen in the lighthouse area around the large cut up Manitoba Maple behind the Visitor Centre and especially near the entrance to the Visitor Centre parking lot. To my knowledge this is the first Presqu'ile record of this form. It was seen through most of the morning and, obviously, has been in the area undetected for a few days so keep searching the area if it is not immediately present.
Directions: Presqu'ile Prov. Park is located just south of Brighton. Take the Brighton exit from Hwy 401 and follow Hwy 30 south into town, then follow the park signs. Once in the park, drive to the eastern-most tip where the Visitor Centre and lighthouse are located.
