This aft at 2pm, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Golden Plover and 2 Common Terns showed
up at Reesor Pond, the Golden frequenting the margins [the Golden
looked rather like the Pacific race, but I doubt it] - the pond lies
just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham. ciao - Stan Long

Hello Ontario Birders,

Today (May 26) at 3:15 pm, my wife and I observed 4 Savannah Sparrows, 5
Bobolinks and 1 Upland Sandpiper in west St. Catharines. All the birds were
observed from 5th Avenue. The Bobolinks, most likely more than I counted,
were observed in the grassy field directly south of 5th Avenue. The
Savannah Sparrows were also observed in the grassy field but were also in
the vineyards directly north of 5th Avenue. The Upland Sandpiper was
observed directly north of 5th Avenue, in a ditch in front of the ploughed
field between the two vineyards.

From the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Martindale Rd. travel west on
Fourth Avenue. At 1st Street Louth turn left. After the railway tracks 5th
Avenue will be on the right hand side.
