This morning around 12:00 noon, we and a number of other observers saw a female Connecticut in the underbrush on the east side of the sports field at Humber College next to CSSP. Possibly the same bird that was spotted earlier this week?
Other birds included Magnolia and Blackpoll Warbler, Gray-Cheeked and Swainson's Thrush, Willow Flycatcher, BC Night Heron, Bonaparte's Gull, and two sightings of Whimbrels (a pair close to the point and a larger flock over the shore well past of the point to the west). Jack and Frances Alvo Toronto DIRECTIONS TO COLONEL SAM SMITH PARK Kipling runs directly into Colonel Sam Smith Park and adjacent Humber College Lakeshore campus, located west of Islington and east of Brown's Line south of the Q.E.W.
