Raptor Observations: The flight was somewhat similar as well when compared to yesterdays but perhaps somewhat steadier overall and tapering off more quickly in the mid afternoon. Also, Sharpies dominated the movement overall even more than the previous day. Still, a very good showing for the second day of the season. One interesting sighting was a vulture with two white outermost primaries on its right wing and the outermost on its left wing as well as one or more white tail feathers. Non-raptor Observations: Cedar Waxwings continued to be the most numerous and obvious non-raptor. Neotrops overall have been rather sparse the last couple of days. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
