No visitors today...just the counter and observers. Thanks to Colin as
counter and Su Redmond, Alf Rider, Keith Sealy and Jen and Derek Lyon for
braving the weather today to make the count happen. :)
Weather:
A very wet day with rain fairly steady throughout the day...especially
heavy through the noon hour. The rain didn't let up until nearly 4:00 p.m.
Temp was a steady 20 C and the winds were moderate from the NE.
Raptor Observations:
Given the rotten weather the flight today was pretty good with a total of
184 raptors counted. As usual at this time of the season the Sharpies (74)
and the Kestrels (66) led the way with a few Harriers (30) and Merlin (5)
moving as well. A few more Osprey (7) as well.
Non-raptor Observations:
