Albert Boisvert, Terrie Smith, and I and two other birders watched the
Northern Wheatear at Wolfe Island between 10:00 and 11:00 this morning.
Directions, courtesy of Peter and Jane Good, are as follows:
It was
located at the intersection of Baseline Rd. and the 4th Line, about 50
metres north both at the side of the road and in an adjacent field of round
hay bales. Wolfe Island can be reached from downtown Kingston by ferry. The
ferry dock is on Ontario Street just north of the intersection with Queen
St.
Two Common Ravens flew over the ferry dock at Marysville (Wolfe Island) just
before 12 noon.
