I will be having the wetlands and Lagoon open on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7 pm, and on Sunday from 9 am to 11 am, this week I am limiting where you can go, because the birds are spooked very easy and eveyone wishes to see them I am only allowing the viewing at the east end only, I apologize to the photographers, but I have dropped the water level down for one more week. I do hope that this meets with some of the requests that I have had, on Sunday I will allow the all of the wetland to be walked.
I am trying to walk the fine line for all please help me. Directions: The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of Brighton. From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit (Hwy. 30)and follow it south into town. Go south through the two traffic lights, over the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward Street, south. About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins to swing to the left and becomes Cty. Rd. 64. As this long turn ends, the constructed wetlands appear on the right side.
