Weather:
It was another clear blue sunny day today with zero cloud cover. The winds
were light northwest early becoming light east and then light to moderate
east-southeast by late morning.

Raptor Observations:
It was a somewhat slower day overall than yesterday although I’m sure this
had as much to do with the wind orientation as anything as the birds tended
to drift to the north through the course of the day. There was a lift off
of Broad-wing groups by the second hour of the count with a very good push
of birds recorded during the third and fourth hours. Many of these birds
passed directly overhead, kettling just west of the count area. This
activity was however short-lived and only small groups were seen thereafter
with the exception of one group of 500 or so Broad-wings that came through
fairly late in the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
A single Hummingbird and Nighthawk were noted at the watch today.
