Raptor Observations: Very few birds were recorded overall during this gray damp day with Harriers leading the way, a species that seems to migrate in all possible weather conditions. Non-raptor Observations: Large numbers of Tree Swallows foraged over various portions of the channel during the day today with the biggest groups numbering 1000-1500 birds. A fair number of warblers were also present around the area including Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Redstart, Magnolia, Nashville, Cape May and many Blackpolls. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
