Weather:
Temp 8.5 C to 12.2 C ending @ 10.8 . Wing WNW ending W second half of the
day. Cloud cover started at 50% went to 80% back to 40% to 99% ending 65%.
Visibility was good but the winds made for a chilly day.
Raptor Observations:
Birds were affected by the wind and were a mix near the southern shore to
the northern horizon. Flight height varied from eye level to 100 ft. to a
limit of the unaided eye.
Non-raptor Observations:
2,000 Tree Swallows throughout the day. Mostly at the northern horizon
between 300 and 150 feet over the marsh.
