Hello: We had a Cave Swallow at Whitefish Point (a few miles as the crow flies from Ontario)in the UP of Michigan yesterday as well. This is the second record for the point. Diagnostic pictures were obtained and can be viewed on the WPBO website: http://wpbosightings.blogspot.com/ We also had at least one Cliff Swallow which was photographed as well- which shows that you can not make the assumption that all buff-rumped swallows at this time of year are necessarily Cave Swallows.
