Hello all,

I observed an adult Greater White-fronted Goose at Pittock Lake, shortly
after noon today. It was consorting with 1500 CAGOs [and one Cackler], in the
western end of the Lake, sticking mostly to the north shore. This is about the
9th Oxford record, with most of those consisting of fall records.

Given the spate of recent sightings, it would appear that there are decent
numbers of White-fronts sprinkled throughout the SW this fall. Remarkably,
Oxford County still has no record of Ross's Goose, despite lots of searching.

Directions- from 401, take exit 230. Go north on Mill to Vansittart. Take
Vansittart north, over the Thames about .5km, to Pittock Park Road. East on
Pittock Park Road 1km, look for Park gates on your right. Follow roadway to
the
lake.
