Winds were light to moderate southwest. Raptor Observations: There was very little movement recorded but one notable sighting was a second-year Bald Eagle with a radio transmitter attached to its upper back. Non-raptor Observations: Barely 10 minutes into the count, a juvenile Northern Gannet appeared at the mouth of the Brownstown Channel less than a half mile southeast of the watch area. It was in view for several minutes before heading towards the south end of the park and out of sight.
