Hi all,
There was a Purple Sandpiper in the Port Burwell harbour at 10:30 this
morning. The bird was on the built up sand spit at the entrance to the harbour
on the west side. There is an extensive rock breakwall to the south of the
harbour, accessed from the parking lot on west side, where it may well end up
and be difficult to locate.

Directions: Port Burwell is located between Long Point and Port Bruce on Lake
Erie. Access from the 401 would be Hwy. 19(Plank Line) through Tillsonburg.
On the west side of the harbour there
is a parking lot past the Provincial park entrance.
