Hello Ontbirders Bob Cermak phoned me about a first-year male Harlequin Duck he'd found on the Ottawa River on the Quebec side of the Champlain bridge. It was just on the east side of the bridge about 40 metres out from shore. Apologies for any errors--I have NOT seen this bird myself and am relaying the information as I understood it.
