For CB counters; I saw a Pileated Woodpecker at McCowan & Davis Dr on
Friday, Dec. 14. There were about 300 Bohemian Waxwings in Uxbridge.

They were feeding on crabapples on Dominion St. and flew to Parkside &
Franklin St., where they continued to feed in evergreens on a church lawn.

I also had about 50 Pine Grosbeaks on Rainbow Ridge Av in Toronto. There
were ten in the crab apple tree at # 62 and the rest flew out of
neighbouring yards when a Sharp-shinned Hawk put them all up.

Directions:

Uxbridge is in Durham Co. on Hwy 47 due west of Port Perry and just west of
Lake Ridge Rd.

Rainbow Ridge Av is in northeast Toronto near the Metro Zoo. It runs west
off Sheppard Av E just south of Twyn Rivers Dr close to the Rouge River
Park.
