hello again,
Today Sunday Dec 16th the day of the Port Burwell CBC, we again
spotted the Yellow throated warbler - Port Burwell, Ontario - at our
feeder. Time 1 to 2 pm. Weather with winter storm and several inches
of snow. Mixed with pine siskens, junkos, goldfinches, white breasted
nuthatches, etc.
This compliments the very rare black throated grey warbler reported
elsewhere for Port Burwell.

Location 3 Bridge St, Port Burwell ON first right turn after the

Hello,
following (and preceding) Ron Allensen's find of the rare black
throated grey warbler in Port Burwell, ON, we report another rare or
vagrant bird - a yellow throated warbler in Port Burwell.
This bird first visited our feeder site one week ago today and then
vanished. Yesterday, Saturday December 15, 2007 it was back with a
vengeance and fed for several hours mid day on suet and seed.
Now the weather has turned miserable with freezing rain today
(Sunday) so anything could happen. Too bad since it our first area
CBC, but maybe it will be lucky.
