This morning at Scarborough's Bluffer's Park, I found one, possibly two Hoary Redpolls of the exilipes subspecies (per Ron Pittaway).
It's not with a flock of Redpolls, but rather with a small flock of Goldfinchs, Juncos and Tree Sparrow near the north-east end of the park btwn the cliff and the ponds. Directions: Bluffer's Park is in south east Scarborough. Proceed south on Brimley Ave until you enter the park near the lake. Park in the eastern most parking lot. From the parking lot, there's a trail that starts at the north-west corner that leads to the beach. Just proceed along there till nearly the end. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
