The five Greater White-fronted Geese were still in Port Hope harbour as of 11.00 a.m. Monday. They are sitting on the ice among a large flock of Canadas.

Directions: Exit 401 At the 464 Port Hope exit. Turn south on Ontario Street and bear left on Mill Street where the road forks. Continue to the Robertson St. intersection [just at the railroad crossing] and turn right, crossing the river bridge. At the stop street turn left on Queen St. and follow it south and then west [as Hayward]. The harbour can be viewed from between the stored yachts on the south of this road.
